First Serbian wind farm to be built with the support from EBRD

Earlier this week, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed to grant 50 million euros ($53 million) to Serbian company Electrawinds K-Wind to finance the Balkan country’s first wind farms. The project is estimated to cost 185 million euros and Electrawinds K-Wind will be in charge for its development.

Scottish wind farms set new records in terms of power production in March 2017

Wind turbines in Scotland supplied 1,240,095 MWh of electricity to the National Grid - enough to supply the electrical needs to about 136 % of Scottish households, or 3.3 million homes, according to new data published by World Wide Fund Scotland (WWF).
