E.ON Energy group is set to raise the price of electricity to residential customers in UK by 9 per cent. The increase of price will take place starting February, 4th when the firm intends to raise the gas prices by 3 percent.

Ofgem warns local power grid operators from UK.
Energy regulator Ofgem has warned the electricity network firms of UK by saying that they are putting the customers at an 'unacceptable' risk of power cuts in trying to maintain the country's old pylons and wires.

Europe to invest 1,235 million Euros in R&D for PV technology
