AES Bulgarian units produce over 415,000 MWh since March 13

AES Bulgaria, a unit of U.S.-based energy conglomerate AES Corporation, said on Tuesday that its thermal power plant (TPP) AES Galabovo and the Saint Nikola Wind Farm have produced some 415,000 MWh of electricity since March 13 when a countrywide state of emergency was declared due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Equinor completes acquisition with Shell in the US Gulf of Mexico

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has approved Equinor and Shell’s transaction announced in May 2019, whereby Equinor exercised its preferential right to acquire 22.45% interest in the Caesar Tonga oil field from Shell Offshore Inc for a total consideration of $965 million in cash.

Shell completes Caesar-Tonga sale to Equinor

Shell announced it had signed an agreement to sell its interest in the Caesar-Tonga asset to Israel’s Delek in April 2019. Subsequently, Norway’s Equinor exercised its right of first refusal under the joint venture operating agreement.
