The EU Could Ban Imports Of Russian Natural Gas By Pipeline
The European Union could move to ban imports of Russia’s pipeline gas by the end of this year if it puts preliminary measures in place, Walter Boltz, energy advisor to the Austrian government, has told Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS).

Daily (13.06.2023): Oil prices fell by 4% on Monday amid weak Chinese data, stronger U.S. dollar
On Monday, crude oil prices declined as a result of weak economic data from China and the possibility of interest rate hikes. Furthermore, higher supply from Russia has contributed to the overall downward trend in oil prices. Hence, Brent crude dropped by 4% to settle at $71.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude traded at $67.12 a barrel, declining by over 4% day-on-day.

Oil prices plunged by about 5% on Tuesday, amid high Russian exports and slowing Chinese demand with the prospect of a standstill at Sunday's OPEC+ alliance meeting. Hence, Brent crude settled at $69.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude traded at $73.54 a barrel.

Daily (26.05.2023): An overall bearish energy complex on Thursday
Crude oil prices fell sharply on Thursday, dampened by statements from Russia's Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, who rejected a further production cut at the end of the next OPEC+ meeting. Remaining fears over the possibility of a US debt ceiling default have put further pressure on prices. Hence, Brent crude posted a 2.7% decline at $76.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude plunged by more than 3% to close at $71.83 a barrel.

G7 backs liquified gas as ‘temporary’ solution, to dismay of climate activists
