Dutch NGO calls for government support for new build
A white paper containing 13 recommendations for the Dutch government to help realise the construction of new nuclear power plants in the Netherlands has been issued by the e-Lise Foundation. Founded at the end of 2020, the Foundation aims to promote the use of nuclear energy in the Netherlands and abroad. It is currently participating in the government's market consultation on the use of nuclear energy.

N. Macedonia plans to invest 750 mln euro in Greek LNG terminal, power plant
North Macedonian state-owned companies National Energy Resources (NER) and ESM signed Memoranda of Cooperation (MoC) to invest in a project for the construction of a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal and a gas-power plant off the coastal city of Alexandroupolis in Greece, the government in Skopje said.

UK government to invest $132 million in new offshore wind facilities

Lithuania, Poland cross-border section of new gas link laid
The gas grids of Lithuania and Poland have now been directly linked after the cross-border section of the under-construction interconnector between the two countries was laid, Lithuanian transmission system operator Amber Grid said Feb. 2.
