BP invested $33 billion in Azerbaijani energy fields
The British energy giant, BP has invested $33 billion in developing Shah Deniz and the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) field, which will involve as well the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the South Caucasus pipelines.

Nabucco’s future dependent on Azerbaijan
In the article entitled “Nabucco Pipeline’s Fate Hinges on Azerbaijan”, published by The Wall Street Journal, the author relates that the fate of the Nabuccco pipeline, which will be able to carry 31 billion cubic feet per year of gas linking the Caspian to Austria by traversing the heart of Turkey proposed in 2002, may depend on Azerbaijan.

Nabucco’s future decided by Azeri gas deliveries.
The chief executive of Austrian OMW, Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer reported to the Austrian newspaper, Kurier that the Nabucco gas pipeline project will be implemented only if the project partners will be able to secure big gas deliveries from Azerbaijan in the next months.
