Bulgaria to pay compensation to Russian Atomstroyexport for ditched nuclear project

Bulgaria considers a 25% stake in a floating LNG terminal in Greece

Yesterday, the Bulgarian Energy Minister has met its Greek counterpart, to talk about the development of a natural gas pipeline between the two countries. Discussions were concentrated mainly on plans to build a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, off the coast of northern Greece, in Alexandroupolis.

Azerbaijan to start gas deliveries to Balkan Gas Hub by 2020

Gas from Azerbaijan’s giant Shah Deniz 2 in the Caspian Sea will enter the Balkan Gas Hub in Bulgaria by 2020, as assured by Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR.
