Bulgaria begins work on Serbia gas link, sees operations by year-end
Bulgaria began construction on Wednesday of a long-delayed natural gas link with neighbouring Serbia that will allow flows of non-Russian gas to Belgrade and boost the security of supplies in southeastern Europe.

Daily (30.01.2023): British gas prices fell on Friday amid mild weather outlook, signals of the return of Freeport LNG terminal
Crude oil prices moved downwards on Friday amid reports that oil loadings from Russia's Baltic ports were set to rise by 50% this month from December. Hence, Brent crude declined by 81 cents, or 0.9%, to settle at $86.66 per barrel. U.S. WTI crude decreased by $1.33, or 1.6 %, to settle at $79.68 a barrel.

The European Commission is proposing that the EU set a $100 per barrel price cap on premium Russian oil products like diesel and a $45 per barrel cap on discounted products like fuel oil, European Union officials said on Thursday.

Daily (26.01.2023): European carbon allowances soared on Wednesday after the strongest UKA auction in a year.
Oil prices were steady on Wednesday as US crude inventories rose less than expected, while the upcoming EU embargo on Russian refined products remains a major source of concern for the market. As a result, Brent crude oil went slipped to $86.12 a barrel, while WTI Crude settled at 80.15 USD/bbl.
