U.S. crude futures increased on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve indicated that the U.S. central bank is in no hurry to tighten its monetary policy saying it will maintain extremely low U.S. interest rates. U.S. crude for delivery in June traded at 112.76 dollars a barrel, up 55 cents.

U.S. crude oil futures traded down on Tuesday in the post-settlement trading after the American Petroleum Institute data indicated a higher than expected increase in domestic crude inventories in the previous week. U.S. crude for delivery in June traded at 111.83 dollars, down 45 cents. Meanwhile, ICE Brent crude oil futures went slightly up on Tuesday on investors’ expectations for any notification of a change in the monetary policy from the U.S. Federal Reserve. ICE Brent crude for delivery in June valued 124.14 dollars, up 48 cents.
