The prices of crude oil plunged on Wednesday amid concerns over waning demand and slowing global economic growth. Thus, Brent crude settled 3% lower at $92.83 a barrel. WTI crude edged 2.6% down at $86.88 a barrel.

Daily (02.09.2022): EUAs remained near five-week lows on Thursday due to fears about demand and an increase in supply this month
Oil prices fell on Thursday on worries that rising inflation and interest rate increases are reducing the fuel usage. The trend was exacerbated by more COVID-19 lockdowns measures in China. The price of a barrel of Brent crude oil settled at $92.36, down by 4.3%. WTI crude ended 3.3% lower at $86.61.

Daily (31.08.2022): Gas prices fell sharply on Tuesday as storage replenishment improved considerably
Crude oil prices lost ground on Tuesday in a volatile week, as markets continue to fear a global recession and demand is declining. On the other side, Saudi Arabia urges OPEC+ to cut more supply which could support the market later on. Nevertheless, Brent and WTI crude traded 5.5% lower at $99.31 a barrel, and $91.64 respectively.

Daily (26.08.2022): Gas and power prices are going crazy!!!
Oil prices dropped on Thursday as investors awaited the potential return of Iranian oil exports. Prices were also affected by fears that the rise in US interest rates would diminish demand for gasoline. As a consequence, WTI ended 2.5% lower at $92.52 and Brent crude oil settled 1.9% lower at $99.34.

Daily (22.08.2022): EUAs reached a new record high on Friday, extending gains for the ninth consecutive session
Oil prices declined for the week but were flat on Friday due to a stronger dollar and worries that a slowing economy would limit demand. Thus, the price of Brent crude oil ended up at $96.72 a barrel. At the same time, WTI crude decreased slightly by 0.3% to $90.77.
