German industrial conglomerate Siemens AG has won an order from Danish Dong Energy to supply wind turbines for two offshore wind power plants in the German North Sea.

Germany is on the way to miss its target for offshore wind power expansion in the North Sea as expansion is not moving ahead as planned. Dutch transmission system operator Tennet stated that new offshore wind capacity in the North Sea is to be limited to 7 GW by 2023, as current targets are unrealistic.

Brent crude oil prices boosted more than $1 per barrel on Monday after Iran and six world powers decided to resume nuclear talks on November 20. Brent settled $1.28 per barrel higher at $106.40, after trading as high as $106.47. Meanwhile, U.S. crude settled 54 cents higher at $95.14 a barrel, after touching a high of $95.38. The contract breached the 10-day moving average of $95.26 in intraday trading for the first time in three weeks.

Croatia's energy market operator, HROTE, and the country's transmission system operator, HOPS, signed on 7 November 2013 an agreement on cooperation in establishing Croatia's power exchange.
