Construction of gas interconnector between Greece and Bulgaria to start in early 2018

The construction of the gas pipeline link between Bulgaria and Greece (IGB) is expected to start in the beginning of 2018, interim Bulgarian energy minister Nikolay Pavlov said during a visit to Azerbaijan.

Bulgaria, Serbia to Ink a MoU on the construction of a Gas Interconnector

Bulgaria and Serbia's Energy Ministers are to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of a gas interconnector between the two countries. The construction should start no later than in May 2019 this way it could be operational by the end of 2020.

Slovenian energy conglomerate Petrol wins public heating agreement in Bulgaria

Slovenia's energy company Petrol has won an agreement to improve a public heating system in Bulgaria's capital Sofia, which is the major heating system of its type in the Balkans and the second largest in Europe, Petrol declared on Monday.
