Romania's Transgaz, BSOG proceed with MGD gas delivery project

Vestas to sell majority stake in three wind power plants in Romania for 136 mln euro
Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas said it has entered into an agreement to sell 80% of its shares in the subsidiaries owning the Romanian wind power plants Pantelimon, Pegasus, and Apollo to a non-disclosed buyer for 136 million euro ($151 million).

RO market regulator wants higher natural gas reserves, warns of uncertain imports
Romania’s energy market regulator ANRE drafted new regulations requiring natural gas producers and suppliers to build up higher reserves ahead of the cold season, quoting risks of “reduced” transfer of natural gas through Ukraine and limited capacities of the interconnectors with other states (Hungary and Bulgaria), according to a release published on August 27.

Romania - one of largest lignite producers in EU
