British renewable investments account for 3.8 billion dollars this year

The British ruling institutions announced recently that U.K. renewable energy investment accounted for 2.5 billion pounds (3.8 billion dollars) this year due to committed funds from Toyota Motor Corp. (7203) to Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS).
Britain is striving to fulfill the European Union goal of getting 15 percent of energy from green sources by 2020. That is why renewable utilities announced the start of the tax year since April 1, move which will create about 11,619 jobs. The Yorkshire is on the top of the regional table of investments with 469 million pounds and 2,501 jobs, followed by Wales, southwest England and Scotland.
