France’s EDF Energies Nouvelles has extended its operations and maintenance activities to Belgium with the establishment of a new division.

EDF EN Services Belgium is mutually possessed by EDF EN Services and EDF Luminus, an EDF Group firm in the country, and offers management services for EDF Luminus and third-party owner-operators at solar plants and wind farms. The new entity and its first local subsidiary are located near Liège and the renewable facilities it works on will be supervised and improved by EDF EN Services’ pan-European operations control centre. The Belgian unit follows subsidiaries in Greece, the UK, Germany, Poland and Italy.
