Vestas to supply 50 MW wind turbines for China

Datang Renewable Power ordered 25 wind turbines for a wind farm in China from Danish manufacturer Vestas, the second 50MW order of V80 2MW turbines series in five days.

The order is expected to be delivered to Alatan wind farm, in Mongolia, in the third quarter of 2010. Both orders include transport, installation and commissioning, but also a Vestas control system.

Chevron, Total, Shell others to divest $27 billion assets

Oil prices rose on Friday following the declaration made by OPEC’s Secretary General Mohammad Barkindo, stating that U.S. crude output is expected to fall in 2020. Brent crude surged by 1.6% to $63.30 a barrel.
