On Monday, Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S announced that its development division has sold a 277-MW wind portfolio located in Italy.
The projects were created using Vestas' technology, but additional details have not been revealed.
The identity of the buyer and the transaction's value remain undisclosed.
"This transaction highlights Vestas Development's capability to continue producing viable, high-quality wind projects in Italy, which is one of its key markets in Europe," stated the turbine manufacturer in a brief announcement.
Vestas Development has a pipeline of approximately 28 GW of wind capacity, while Vestas has secured 7 GW of confirmed projects resulting from its development efforts.
