Suvic secures a conditional EPC contract for a 100-MWp solar project in Finland.

Energy infrastructure developer Suvic AB has secured a conditional contract to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for a 100-MWp solar initiative in Finland.

The agreement is contingent upon receiving a Notice to Proceed, which is anticipated to be issued by the end of next month, as reported by the Dovre Group subsidiary on Wednesday. The estimated value of the contract is EUR 55 million (USD 56.6 million).

The contract’s scope will encompass all EPC tasks for the solar facility and its substation on a turnkey basis. Construction is expected to commence in March, with the plant projected to be operational and handed over to the client in the autumn of 2026.

Suvic has already completed a 32-MW solar park in Rauma, Finland, and is currently engaged in building a photovoltaic (PV) facility in Lapua, which is forecasted to generate an annual output of 80 GWh. Additionally, last month, the company was contracted to undertake the Balance of Plant (BoP) construction for the 70-MW Vinliden wind farm cluster in Sweden.
