Photon Energy will oversee Greenvolt's 57-MWp solar power plant in Hungary.

Photon Energy NV, a clean power company based in Amsterdam, has entered into an agreement with Portugal's Greenvolt Power to manage assets for its 57-MWp solar farm located in Kiralyegyhaza, Hungary.
The facility, which covers an area of 75 hectares (185.3 acres) in the Szentlorinc district of southern Hungary, will be operated by Photon Energy's Operations & Maintenance (O&M) division, the company announced on Wednesday.
The agreement with the Portuguese renewable energy developer includes comprehensive asset management services such as contract management, owner representation, reporting, project management, and technical oversight.
Jacek Bladek, COO of Greenvolt Power, stated, "This partnership with Photon Energy guarantees that our solar PV asset in Hungary is managed to high standards of efficiency and performance, which is crucial for strengthening our role as a significant player in the utility-scale sector."
Photon Energy's O&M division currently manages over 1.1 GWp of installed photovoltaic capacity throughout Central and Eastern Europe and Australia, with 400 MWp located in Hungary alone. The company noted that it has several additional contracts in negotiation, which it hopes to finalize by the end of the year.
