EDPR is set to sell a 121-MW wind farm portfolio located in France and Belgium.

Portuguese electric utility group EDP Energias de Portugal SA announced on Thursday that its majority-owned subsidiary EDP Renovaveis SA has agreed to sell its holdings in a 121-MW wind portfolio located in France and Belgium.
Through a put option arrangement with Amundi Transition Energetique (ATE), EDPR has the right to sell the wind assets to various ATE-managed entities for an estimated enterprise value of about EUR 200 million (USD 223.7 million).
The portfolio consists of 12 wind farms, all of which began commercial operations in 2020. Most are situated in France, with a total capacity of 111 MW, while a single 11-MW wind farm is in Belgium.
EDP anticipates completing the transaction this year. Additionally, the Portuguese company has two other deals set for finalization in 2025: one involving 300 MW of solar and 92 MW of storage assets in the US, and another concerning an 82-MW solar portfolio in Spain, with total proceeds estimated at EUR 250 million.
