The Nordex Group has received an order from UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) for 64 turbines, consisting of 52 N175/6.X and 12 N163/6.X models. With a total capacity of 435.2 MW, these orders fall under an existing framework agreement and include a 20-year premium maintenance service for the turbines.

All N175/6.X turbines will be installed on hybrid towers with a hub height of 179 meters across 15 wind farm sites in Germany, located in Brandenburg, Thuringia, North Rhine-Westphalia, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Lower Saxony. Construction and commissioning are planned for 2026 and 2027, depending on each project's timeline.

He emphasized that this investment reflects UKA’s trust in their technology and its commitment to advancing renewable energy in Germany.

Gernot Gauglitz, CEO and shareholder of UKA, noted that this latest order increases the total number of wind turbines ordered by UKA to 226 over the last 18 months, totaling over 1.5 GW of power generation capacity. He expressed pride in this achievement and highlighted the collaboration with Nordex as key to advancing the energy transition, now bearing fruit from years of partnership.
