EDF closes Golftech nuclear plant because of elevated river temperatures.

French utility EDF announced it has taken offline the No. 1 reactor at the Golftech nuclear power plant in southwestern France late on Sunday due to an expected increase in the Garonne river's temperature, which provides cooling water for the plant.
The company must adjust production when the average daily temperature of the Garonne downstream exceeds 28 degrees Celsius.
EDF also noted that the second unit at the plant is already offline for maintenance, as mentioned in a statement on its website on Monday.
