Entech acquires 100 MWp of solar projects in France.
French renewable energy company Entech announced the acquisition of a portfolio of agrivoltaic and ground-mounted solar projects in development across France, totaling around 100 MWp in capacity.
The assets were acquired from a prominent international energy company for EUR 1.4 million (USD 1.63 million), although the company's name was not revealed.
The projects, located in central and southern France, vary in size from 3 MWp to 11 MWp and are at different stages of development, with building permits submitted for half of the projects.
The initial two-year phase will concentrate on project analysis and optimization before construction is set to begin, targeting the 2027-2029 timeframe.
This acquisition is the first investment following Entech's EUR 15 million convertible bond offering in June, which aimed to enhance its Energy & Services division.
