ESB selects Voltalia to build two solar power projects in Ireland.

ESB has selected Voltalia to build two new solar farms in Ireland, totaling nearly 93MW in capacity. Voltalia has received two turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction contracts (EPC) for these projects, which include the 43.7MW Carriglong solar plant and the 49.2MW Clashwilliam solar plant. This marks the fourth partnership between Voltalia and ESB since 2023.
Voltalia has previously worked on the 108MW Timahoe North solar park in County Kildare for the ESB-Bord na Móna joint venture, and the 75MW Middleton House solar farm in County Longford. Since summer 2024, Voltalia has secured construction contracts for over 600MW in Ireland, in addition to the 365MW already commissioned since 2022. "We are pleased to continue our collaboration with ESB for these two projects," stated Voltalia CEO Robert Klein. "These new service contracts further solidify our growing presence in Ireland."
