£237 in savings available before the increase in energy price cap.

Households moving from a standard variable tariff to a fixed energy deal could save up to £237, or 14%, compared to the energy price cap set for October.
The price cap will increase from £1,720 to £1,755 on October 1. However, Uswitch.com indicates there are currently 27 fixed deals available that are cheaper than this cap.
The lowest-priced option is Outfox Energy’s “Outfox the Price Cap Oct 2025 12M v3.0,” which provides an average annual bill of £1,518, yielding the greatest savings compared to the new cap.
Fuse Energy also has competitive offers, including a 12-month deal that saves £185 and a 13-month option saving £208.
A special version of the 13-month tariff is offered exclusively through Uswitch, Confused.com, and directly from Fuse Energy.
Elise Melville, an energy expert at Uswitch.com, stated: “If you haven’t switched in a year or more, compare options as soon as possible. Households with the ability to switch can typically save by opting for a fixed deal.”
