Tauron from Poland will supply renewable energy to an event location in Katowice.
Polish utility Tauron announced today that it will provide 11,000 MWh of renewable energy to power the Spodek Arena and the International Congress Center in Katowice.

The larger complex will utilize green energy for concerts, congresses, and conferences, which will lower its carbon dioxide emissions by more than 5 million kilograms over the next two years, according to a press release.

Tauron's renewable energy portfolio now comprises 14 wind farms with a combined capacity of 540 MW and four solar photovoltaic parks totaling 111 MW.
