Envision Energy and GES collaborate on battery energy storage and wind power projects in Spain.

Envision Energy and GES have formed a strategic partnership to enhance battery energy storage systems (BESSs) and wind power in Spain and throughout Europe, with the goal of accelerating the clean energy transition in the region.
The agreement emphasizes the large-scale deployment of BESSs and wind turbine generators (WTGs), strengthening both companies' presence in Spain's renewable energy landscape.
Their collaboration covers the entire value chain for BESS and WTG facilities, including construction, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
This strategy aims to improve efficiency and hasten the development of clean energy infrastructure in the area.
As part of the agreement, Envision Energy will provide training and digital tools to enhance GES's technical and operational expertise in both BESSs and WTGs.
In exchange, GES will leverage Envision Energy's advanced digital platforms to enhance project visibility, streamline order processing, and optimize execution efficiency.
GES CEO José Luis García Donoso stated: “We are very proud that GES has been chosen to support construction and provide technical services for the equipment supplied by Envision in Spain, Europe, and Latin America.
“This partnership allows developers to leverage the expertise of a strong local company like GES for installation, operation, and after-sales support.
“Envision’s technology perfectly aligns with our strategy of implementing innovative systems that contribute to grid sustainability and underlines our commitment to providing solutions that promote the planet’s energy transition.”
GES will also offer complete engineering support for the balance of plant construction, including grid connection efforts, alongside transportation and installation services for BESS and WTG components.
Henry Peng, Envision Energy's senior vice-president and president for Latin America and Europe, remarked: “Our partnership with GES transcends a traditional business relationship – it embodies a mutual vision for a sustainable energy future through technology, innovation, and trust.
“By integrating Envision’s global expertise in AI-driven energy storage and smart wind solutions with GES’s robust local resources and engineering skills, we aim to create a more resilient renewable energy ecosystem and deliver superior project execution and long-term service support to the local market.
“Starting in Spain, we will jointly expand into Europe’s evolving energy storage and wind sectors, establishing a new standard for integrated service excellence and advancing Europe’s transition to a clean energy future.”
Last month, Envision Energy announced a partnership for the 1GW Mirny Wind Farm in Kazakhstan, marking the country’s first renewable energy initiative.
