Vestas Secures Order for 660 MW Offshore Wind Turbines

Vestas announced on December 1 that it has secured an order for wind turbines for an offshore project in Europe with a total capacity of 660 MW.

This 660 MW order contributes to Vestas’s Q4 order intake, which has surpassed 500 MW, including multiple onshore turbine orders from Germany, Italy, the US, and Canada over the past two months.

In the third quarter, Vestas recorded firm and unconditional wind turbine orders totaling 4.6 GW, reflecting a 4 percent rise compared to the same period in 2024. As of September 30, 2025, the value of Vestas’ wind turbine order backlog stood at EUR 31.6 billion, as reported in the company’s third-quarter results released on November 5.
