R.Power begins construction on a 20MW solar project in Klotze.

R.Power has initiated the construction of its 20MW Klotze Solar Park in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
Przemek Pięta stated that this project is the company’s first large-scale photovoltaic initiative in the nation and is supported by a 20-year contract under the EEG auction system.
The company noted that this initiative adds to its broader German portfolio, which recently includes over 115MW of solar capacity awarded through the German Innovation Auction by Bundesnetzagentur.
“Germany is a strategically important market for R.Power, and the commencement of construction at Klotze Solar Park is a significant milestone for our company,” Przemek Pięta remarked. “This project follows our recent achievement in the German Innovation Auction, where we secured 115.5 MW of capacity for new PV projects featuring innovative elements like storage and hybrid configurations.”
Once operational, the Klotze facility will provide clean energy to thousands of homes.
The project underscores the company’s strategy of integrating photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems to boost flexibility and value creation.
