BayWa r.e. sells a 44MWp solar duo in France.

BayWa re has sold two solar parks in France with a combined capacity of 44MWp to Heling Enr.

The company noted that the first project in Gièvres involves the redevelopment of an old sand quarry, incorporating wetland protection and eco-grazing practices.

Additionally, the second agrivoltaic plant, which has a capacity of 23MWp, is located in Salsigne and Villardonnel, initiated by local farmers to enhance livestock conditions in a drought-stricken mountainous region.

BayWa r.e. will operate both facilities and handle their operation and maintenance.

De Gaulle Fleurance provided legal advice to BayWa r.e., while Jeantet advised Heling Enr.

“This agreement demonstrates how solar projects can merge energy transition, local development, and sustainable agricultural practices,” remarked Sylvie Perrin, partner at De Gaulle Fleurance.

“We are pleased to have assisted BayWa r.e. in an initiative that generates sustainable value for operators, farmers, and local communities,” Perrin added.
