Nordex secures 246MW in orders from Spain.

Nordex has received orders for 38 turbines totaling 246MW in the provinces of Teruel, Navarra, Burgos, and León in Spain.
The company indicated that projects in Teruel will utilize N163/6.X units along with one N175/6.X turbine.
In Navarra, the installations will incorporate N163/6.X, N133/4800, and N163/5.X turbines, while Burgos will feature N149/5.X units, as noted by Nordex.
Nadara has placed an order for 12 N163/6.X turbines for the 75MW Castillo 1 wind farm located in León.
The company announced that the project is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2027 and represents its initial foray into wind energy in Spain.
“We are thrilled to have Nadara as a new partner in Spain and to assist their entry into the Spanish wind energy sector,” stated Francisco Cejudo, sales director for Spain at Nordex Group.
“This initiative showcases the robustness of our Delta4000 platform and our capability to provide customized solutions for various wind conditions.
“With these new projects, the Nordex Group continues to strengthen its position in the Spanish market, where it aims to retain a leading role in new orders by 2025.”
Each order comes with a long-term Premium Service contract to ensure high availability and optimal energy production.
The identities of the other customers and wind farms have not been revealed.
