Allianz GI acquires a 50% interest in German battery storage projects from Total.
Allianz Global Investors announced on Tuesday that it is purchasing a 50% interest in 11 battery storage projects that are in the process of being built in Germany from TotalEnergies.
The 800-megawatt projects involve a total investment of 500 million euros ($583 million) and are expected to be operational by 2028, according to the company.
