Qualitas Energy secures 126MW in a German auction.

Qualitas Energy has obtained 126MW in Germany's February onshore wind energy tender, which includes three projects.

The German Federal Network Agency conducted the auction that led to these awards, according to the company.

The projects are situated in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Baden-Württemberg.

Qualitas Energy plans to develop 18 wind turbines across these projects.

The February 2026 auction received significant oversubscription, with 924 bids for 7858MW compared to the available 3445MW.

Johannes Overbeck, CEO of Qualitas Energy Deutschland GmbH, noted that “These auction results highlight the strong demand and competitive nature of Germany’s onshore wind sector, as well as the ongoing energy transition. Winning 126 MW in this tender showcases our team’s execution skills and long-term dedication to the market.
