TotalEnergies ENEOS signs a 15-year power purchase agreement with a Thai apparel company.
TotalEnergies ENEOS has secured a 15-year agreement to provide power from a planned rooftop solar installation for Jintana Intertrade Co Ltd, a garment manufacturer based in Thailand.

The power purchase agreement (PPA) will enable the installation of a 650-kWp photovoltaic (PV) system, as stated by TotalEnergies ENEOS on Tuesday. This system will comprise approximately 1,000 solar modules and will be installed on the roof of Jintana's production facility in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The joint venture between French energy firm TotalEnergies SE and Japan’s ENEOS Holdings Inc will fully finance, design, implement, operate, and maintain the PV system.

The rooftop solar installation is projected to produce over 1,000 MWh of electricity each year, fulfilling around 55% of the power requirements for the manufacturing site. This output is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 480 tonnes annually, aiding Jintana in its sustainability efforts.

Based in Singapore, TotalEnergies ENEOS is dedicated to advancing onsite solar distributed generation for businesses throughout Asia. Established in 2022, it plans to develop 2 GW of decentralized solar energy within five years.
