MaxSolar launches a 37.6-MW solar park for a German utility.
German developer MaxSolar GmbH has successfully launched a 37.6-MW solar park in Bavaria for the municipal utilities company Stadtwerke Munchen GmbH.

The Zengermoos photovoltaic (PV) farm is anticipated to produce approximately 42,000 MWh of power annually, which is sufficient to meet the needs of around 16,800 households, according to MaxSolar's announcement on Monday.

Located close to the village of Zengermoos in the Erding district, the solar park covers an area of 30 hectares and connects to the power grid via a 20-kV line at the Hallbergmoos substation. Construction began in the summer of 2025.

Additionally, MaxSolar has recently finished another solar project for Stadtwerke Munchen at the Garching park near Munich, which is projected to provide green electricity for about 5,600 homes. The estimated annual output of this plant is around 14,000 MWh.
