Enea secures KPO funding for 268 MW of solar parks in Poland.
Poland's state-owned utility Enea SA announced today that it has secured over PLN 417 million (USD 114 million/EUR 98 million) from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO) for the development of 268 MW of solar farms.

The loan, provided on favorable terms by the national development bank BGK, is designated for Enea Nowa Energia, the group's renewable energy division, and will be repaid over 15 years.

This funding will finance 90% of the project's eligible expenses, amounting to PLN 464 million, for the construction of 11 solar parks located in northwestern Poland.

This project aligns with Enea Group's 2035 strategy, which includes a PLN 108 billion investment plan focused on expanding renewable energy sources, energy storage, and distribution networks. The strategy has begun to yield results, as Enea Group's installed capacity in renewable energy sources rose by 220.5 MW year-over-year in 2025, according to the company.
