Vestas has obtained two onshore wind turbine contracts in Germany, totaling 88MW, as part of its order intake for the second quarter.

The larger contract, valued at 64MW, is for the Wehrder project and involves several local clients, including Windpark Wehrder Projekt GmbH & Co. KG, according to the company.

This order comprises seven V150-6.0MW turbines and three V162-7.2MW turbines, along with a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement, Vestas mentioned.

Additionally, a second order for 24MW has been made by an unnamed customer for four V150-6.0MW turbines, which also includes a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

Delivery for both projects is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
