Daily (31.07.2024) : British gas prices rose on Tuesday amid lower production and supply concerns

Oil prices continued to decline on Tuesday due to the gloomy outlook for demand growth in China. As a result, Brent crude dropped by 1.4%, closing at $78.63 a barrel. Similarly, WTI crude fell by 1.4%, settling at $74.73 a barrel.

Spain unleashes 28 GW of renewables in latest permitting round

The Spanish ministry for the ecological transition said on Monday it had granted construction permits for 283 renewable energy projects, enabling a whopping 28,123 MW of new wind, solar photovoltaic and hydroelectric capacity to pop up across Spain within three years.
