Gazprom: Ukraine has a gas debt of 5.3 billion USD
Russian gas conglomerate Gazprom had charged Ukrainian energy firm Naftogaz with a $5.3 billion bill for gas the country received in the period 1 to 16 June under a take-or-pay clause.

A new power supplier has joined the UK energy market

Daily (17.02.2017): European spot power contracts surge to their highest levels since November 2008
Crude oil prices ended the Monday’s trade higher as Saudi Arabia's commitments to cutting production offset a report forecasting U.S. output would again increase this year. Benchmark Brent crude oil for March delivery rose by 41 cents a barrel, or 0.7 percent, to end at $55.86 and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude added 27 cents, or 0.5 percent, to settle at $52.64 a barrel.
