Daily: Brent crude trades higher near $111 as Fed keeps monetary stimulus

Brent crude increased towards $111 a barrel on Thursday, prolonging gains for a second day after the United States kept its monetary stimulus programme intact, spurring global equities and commodity prices. Brent crude for November delivery gained 28 cents to $110.88 a barrel by 02:38 GMT, while U.S. crude settled at $108.59, up 52 cents.
