Gazprom’s gas deliveries to Europe boost by 29% in July
The Russian gas giant Gazprom boosted its gas exports to European Union and Turkey in July, an increase of 29% to 14.04 billion cubic metres (bcm) compared to the same period a year ago.

UK launched 25 billion fund for the construction of new biofuel plants
The Department for transport will present a fund of 25 million pounds which will be offered following a demonstration of the use of municipal waste and forestry residues or other advanced biofuel sources to produce fuels, helping UK to shift from fossil fuels as petrol and diesel.

Poland will not apply taxes on shale gas production by 2020
After several foreign companies, as Exxon Mobil, Canada’s Talisman Energy and US oil firm Marathon, quit the Polish market in the past few months, the finance minister, Jacek Rostowski, has announced that Poland will not tax shale gas production until 2020 and will improve regulation, in a move which aims to attract energy explorers.
