Daily: Brent and U.S. crude settled up on Bank on Japan plans

Brent and U.S. crude oil futures for February delivery rose 71 cents to settle at $112.42 a barrel and 68 cents to settle at $96.24 a barrel, respectively on Tuesday, being supported by Bank of Japan's plans to launch an economic stimulus effort and further supported by gains in the U.S. stock market.

EDF: French annual nuclear power production down 3.8% in 2012

French annual nuclear power production from 58 reactors owned by EDF totaled 404.9 TWh last year, a decrease of 3.8% compared to 421.1 TWh in 2011, this being the first decline since the crisis in 2009 (- 6.6%).
