Germany hits a new solar power record in first half 2012

German solar energy production reached a new world record by pumping 14.7 TWh of electricity into the power grid during the first half of 2012 which represents about 4,5% of the total power production during that period. The country is already a world-leader in solar power and hopes to be free from nuclear energy by 2022.

A new LNG terminal could be built in Gothenburg, in Sweden by 2015.It will be built at the major port in the Nordic region, and will be able to store large quantities of resources, helping the country to pass from heavy fuel oil to gas.
