Daily – U.S. crude ends at 8-week low on China data

Crude oil futures decreased on Tuesday for the second day in line as data indicated a drop in Chinese imports of major commodities in March and raised concerns over oil demand. WTi crude oil futures for May delivery traded at 101.02 dollars a barrel, down 1.44 dollars, and settling the lowest settlement since February 14, while ICE Brent crude for May delivery valued 119.88 dollars, down 2.79 dollars, the lowest settlement since February 17. The contract traded between 119.67 and 122.67 dollars.

Pakistan hydro project to receive $850m from the World Bank

The Tarbela 4th Extension hydropower project in Pakistan will receive 850 million dollars from the World Bank. By completing the project, the generation capacity of Tarbela Power Station will achieve 4,888 MW. It is expected to be completed in four years and will generate 1,410 MW of electricity.
