UK power blackout fears on the track to fade
The UK energy experts have longtime warned that the country could face a severe power blackout between 2015 and 2020, highlighting the uncertainty of UK’s electricity supply, as existing coal and nuclear power stations are due to be retired in 2016 and energy projects for their replacement are not likely to be completed in time.

Daily – U.S. and Brent crude extend gains on supply worries
U.S. and Brent crude oil futures went up on Thursday on supply worries and rising tensions in Iran. By 20:28 GMT, WTi crude traded at 109.66 dollars a barrel, gaining 2.59 dollars, after having reached the utmost level at 110.55 dollars, while ICE Brent crude valued 127.30 dollars, gaining 4.64 dollars, after registering the utmost settlement of 128.40 dollars.

GE to buy a stake for 100 million dollars in a US PV project
According to Chief Executive Officer, Alex Urquhart, has recently announced that GE EFS has bought a stake in a large PV project for 100 million dollars. The new investment will give GE EFS a stake in the 127 MW Arlington Valley Solar Energy II plant which is being constructed in Arizona by LS Power.
