European gas market copes with the cold snap

Despite the cold weather at the moment, in most parts of Europe gas storage levels are high because much of the continent has so far seen a mild winter. Europe's gas storage sites were two-thirds full on average versus levels of less than 50 percent at this point last year, data from Gas Infrastructure Europe showed lately.
