South Stream pipeline gets Turkey greenlight
Turkey gave greenlight to the South Stream gas pipeline which will transport gas to southeast Europe bypassing Ukraine. The pipeline will pass under Turkey territorial waters and it is expected to deliver gas in 2015.

Daily – oil closed the 2011 with the third straight annual increase
U.S. crude and ICE Brent crude oil futures ended up the 2011 on Friday, the third straight annual increase, but off 2010’s 21.5 percent and 15 percent jump respectively, as export disrupting civil war in Libya countered the effect of slower economies and Europe’s debt crisis.

British renewable investments account for 3.8 billion dollars this year

DECC: UK renewable investments hit £2.5bn this year
The Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) revealed that the UK invested almost £2.5bn in renewable energy projects this year, creating almost 12,000 jobs across the country since the April 1.
