Daily- Oil above $100 per barrel on euro zone optimism

US crude oil futures have augmented $3.97 to a high of $100.74 per barrel on Monday on stronger consumer spending and on optimism that European leaders will solve the euro zone debt crisis, while ICE Brent crude futures for January delivery traded at a high of $109.40, up $3 dollars per barrels, before receding back to $108.70 by 11:28 GMT.
