U.S. crude plunged 7 cents to $80.44 a barrel, after a hike of as much as $81.71, down a bit more than 7 percent for the week, being the first weekly downfall in five week, while Brent crude traded higher to $106 on Friday, following a plunge in the previous session which encouraged investors to buy on dip.
