Daily – Spanish spot power prices hit their highest since December 2008
Brent crude increased on Friday on gains in equity markets and delays on key North Sea crude oil loadings. Brent crude for November added 60 cents to $112.90 a barrel by 1154 GMT, having risen more than $1 earlier. U.S. crude dropped 18 cents to $89.22.

EDF announces higher energy tariffs ahead of winter
The British energy provider, EDF Energy was the last of the”big six” which announced on Thursday that their energy tariffs will go up by 15.4 % for gas and 4.5 % for electricity, hitting 3.2 million of London families which will have to face with energy bills increases.

Global nuclear energy capacity to rise 70% by 2030
Despite dented nuclear outlook in Germany and Japan following the Fukushima’s disaster, global nuclear power capacity will increase by almost 70% in the next 20 years, being mainly driven by demand in China, India, Korea and the United Kingdom, according to the last projections of the World Nuclear Association.

TNK-BP: huge investment in oil refining and production
